Answer:

1) In triangle ABF and triangle ECD

AB=CD(Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal)

AE=CF

AE+EF=CF+EF

AF=EC

AF=EC

Angle DCE=Angle FAB

From these three we can say that,

Triangle BAF is congruent to triangle ECD

Then,

Angle DEC = Angle BFA

But these both are alternate interior angles of DE and FB.

So DE is parallel to FB.

2) As triangle BAF is congruent to triangle ECD

DE=FB(CPCT rule)
