c) Archie stuffed the doughnut with pepper so that the elephant might cough and sneeze, and after stuffing the doughnut, he asked if he may feed the elephant. As soon as he was given permission, Archie carried out his little trick.

d) The elephant squirted water into his mouth to neutralize the pepper and cool his mouth.
