Step-by-step explanation:

6x-2/9 + 3x+5/18 = 1/3

First we will find the LCM of the denominators that is(LCM of 9,18 and 3= 18)

Now divide each term with the LCM so that we don't have any denominator left.

⇒18(6x-2)/9 + 18(3x+5)/18 = 18(1)/3

Now lets reduce the denominators.

We get ↓

⇒2(6x-2) + (3x+5) = 6  (we dont have denominators left now because we reduced them with the LCM)

⇒12x-4 + 3x+5 = 6 (by multiplying 2 by 6x and -2)

Lets get the variables in one side now.

⇒12x+3x = 6+4-5  (by transposition)

⇒15x = 10-5

⇒15x = 5

⇒x = 5/15

x = 1/3
