a) To make pots, the soil should be hard in texture, very sticky when wet. It should be very smooth and if we give any shape to it, it will remain same and solid after drying. So, the clayey soil have these properties. Dry Clay is hard so the pots will not break.

b) If we keep it in a higher place ,it may fall down and broke,so it is important.

c) Leave about a one inch space between the top of the soil and rim of the pot. This will help make watering the pot easier as it provides a place to put water and not have it run over the edge.

d) Differences in pot and plant sizes will impact how quickly a pot dries out. When you water be sure to moisten the entire root zone. Water, until water comes out of the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot. It may take as much as ¾ or a gallon of water to thoroughly water a 10 to 12 inch container.
