The study showed that magnification loupes enhanced treatment and improved ergonomics during patient care by using this device. The magnification loupes were designed primarily to enhance the visual acuity of practitioners. Furthermore, magnification loupes have the potential to enhance client treatment and therapeutic outcomes, as well as enhance the musculoskeletal health of oral care clinician. The topic in this study was to determine policies and practices regarding magnification loupes among faculty and students in accredited dental hygiene programs. Now a days, the use of magnification loupes is not required by accredited dental hygiene programs. However, the use of magnification glasses continues to increase in dental practice settings due to potential ergonomic benefits.
