My birthday celebration
A Birthday Celebration is always an extra special day for all of us. Every year we celebrate it but it is always a new experience every year.
The 8th of November was my birthday. I was so excited and thrilled about it that I started marking the calendar from October. Several days ahead, my mom called our close family members and friends over phone. I also invited my all my friends.
On the 6th November, I placed an order for a large 3 layered birthday cake with my name written on it. There were going to be lots of children and I asked for money from my dad and I bought several packets large size balloons of different colours and all kinds of sweets.
On the day of my birthday, my sisters started preparing different tasty dishes. My brother and my brother-in-law went to the pastor and invited him to my birthday celebration and also to pray for me.
We gathered in the garden outside our house. The pastor prayed for me. We sang the Happy Birthday song. I blow the candles off which was greeted with loud clapping. I cut the cake and distributed them to every one. We also have lots of snacks and cold drinks. There was a photo session. And my birthday ended with a large dinner. We have a great time, both young and old.
And of course I got lots of presents and I am eager to open them and see what they are.
