Diwali is the festival of lights in India. But now a days people burn dangerous fire crackers limitlessly. Our main object was to aware of the harms of the pollution caused by the firecrackers that leads directly or indirectly to global warming. After discussion with my scouts we decided to arrange awareness programme of pollution free Diwali. We went door to door in our local area and aware people about pollution free Diwali. We gave people pledge about pollution free Diwali and then colleted from them wax lamps..From society and our other school students we collected 3500 wax lamps in three days. On 7th November we arrange Dipotsav ( Festival of Lights ) Programme in school.We invited other school students and their parents for this programme. In evening time we ignited all 3500 wax lamps in school and spread message SAY NO TO CRACKER...n also give message that Diwali is festival of lights and peace not crackers.
