Mathu belli , Mouna Bangara

the typical meaning of this proverb is that the words we talk are like silver but silence is gold!!

but kannada proverbs don't mean their typical meaning..they have whole different and deep meaning hidden in themselves

   this meaning means"ignorance is bliss"

in sense ,instead of talking bad things about something being quite in it is better. even if you are right and the other person is wrong that's okay just being calm is the best solution because you know the other person will talk all kind of ill things to prove themselves right and in this process any of their words might hurt you.

being quite and calm in though situations instead of blaming fate,destiny..etc for our bad times and situations is best can be another example of the proverb..

this is the real and actual meaning of the proverb!!

hope it helped you!!
