most of the farmers for their consumption they use agriculture

Agricultural is one of the most Important economic activities in the world. the different economic activities preformed by human
beings are broadly three types -----------------

(1)==== The primary activities
(2)=== The secondary activities
(3)=== The tertiary activities

The primary activity include the extraction of raw materials from the earth's surface. the main primary acitivites are hunting, food gathering, pastralism, fishing, forestry, mining and agricultural.

The secondary activity include the processing of raw materials and converting them into finished goods of higher value.

The tertiary activity include all types of services which supports the primary and secondary activity. the main tertiary activities are transport, trade, education, banking, insurance .

Factors influence agricultural.

The methods of farming, types of crops grown and the amount of production vary from place to place. this is due to changing environmental conditions. some of the physical and economic factors which greatly influenced agriculture are as under :

Types of farming

Subsistence farming ==== subsistence farming is mainly practised meet the needs of the farmer family . in this type of farming, the farmer uses primitive methods to produce a variety of crops.

Shifting cultivation ==== shifting cultivation Is mainly practised in the forested areas of the Amazon basin, tropical Africa parts of south east Asia and parts of north east India.

Nomadic herding ==== nomads are tribes who move from place to place in search of means of subsistence. people who move in search of pastures for domesticated animals are known as nomadic herders.

Sedentary farming ==== in early tines people used to move from one place to another as food gatherer, hunter herder or shifting cultivator.

Intensive farming ==== in intensive farming the farmer tries to get the maximum possible output from to a small plot land. the farmer uses simple tools and abundant human labour.

Commercial farming ==== in commercial farming the crops are grown and livestock are reared for sale in the market. commercial farming can be intensive or extensive. the farms are generally large in size and the investment are high.

Extensive farming ==== extensive farming is mostly practice in the sparsely populated areas where abundant land is available which suitable for farming.

Mixed farming ==== in mixed farming livestock are reared along with crop farming. fodder crops and cultivated along with foods crops. cattle rearing for milk meat is an important feature of mixed farming.

Plantation agriculture=== plantation agriculture is a type of commercial farming it was introduced by the Europeans in the tropical and subtropical regions.

Dairy farming ==== dairy farming has been developed to meet the needs of industrial cities it's growth and development has its roots Europe where the climate is suitable for natural pastures.
