1.Black Soil-It is found in parts of Maharashtra,Karnatka,Gujrat and Andhra Pradesh.It is balck in color and is suited for growing cotton.
2.Desert Soil-It is mostly sandy and is found in Rajasthan and Gujarat.Only cacti and some thorny plants can grow in it.
3.Red soil-It is found in Kerela,Tamil Nadu,Andhra Pradesh ,Odhisa etc.It is red in color due to the presence of iron oxide in it.
