Since, the bottle has equal capacity, So

Volume in both of the bottles will be same.

Now,

Mass of Liquid X = 200 g - 100g

☛ Mass of liquid X = 100g

Mass of Liquid Y = 250 g - 100 g

☛ Mass of liquid Y = 150 g

We know,

Density = Mass / Volume

Let the volume be V,

Now,

Density of Liquid X = 100 / V ...(1)

Density of Liquid Y = 150 / V ...(2)

Relative Density = Density of Liquid X / Density of Liquid Y

☛ relative density = (100 / V) / (150 / V)

☛ relative density = 100 / V × V / 150

☛ relative density = 100/150

☛ relative density = 2/3

☛ relative density = 0.6666666...

or

☛ relative density = 0.667
