SCIENCE EXHIBITION

A science exhibition was arranged by the education officer of the municipal council of Pune, Maharashtra, yesterday in which Doctor Narvekar, the senior assistant of scientists was invited as a chief guest.
The opening of the exhibition started off with the opening prayer song and dance offered to Lord Ganesha performed by the students of Model Public School, Pune. It was followed by the short welcome speech by the Education Officer of the Municipal Council of Pune, Mr. ABC.
He invited our Chief guest Doctor Narvekar, who is the senior assistant of scientists to say a few lines. Doctor Narvekar spoke about the importance of education in our life and mainly emphasized on the importance of science on our society.
He said that he was extremely happy to see the enthusiasm of students participating from different schools with a wide range of interesting scientific projects and models.
He also encouraged the students to remain curious about science and to keep observing things with scientific point of view. After, this speech the exhibition was started and people visited each group of students with their models and projects. Some of the people asked some questions about their projects also.
The event was ended with yet another congratulatory speech by the Education Officer and he also thanked all the students who participated in the event, the Chief Guest, Doctor Narvekar and also the parents who came to the event.
