Answer: this is one of the 99 worded short stories on my horror blog page

DREAM STATE: I woke up in the middle of the night.

A sound i didn't recognize had woken me up.

The sound didn't come from outside;of that i was sure.

My heart was pounding.

I felt like i was being watched.

Was it just my mind lingering in a dream state?

I didn't think so.

I didn't want to move, but i knew I had to if I wanted to be sure that there wasn't someone(or something) else in my room.

I  leaned my head up and and saw nothing out of the ordinary...at first

(also just so you know the word wasn't leaned it was jer k ed i used but apparently it comes under the list of swear words dam)
