Let's assume that the charge be q 

Electric feild at distance r is given by
E= \frac{1}{4Πε} \frac{q}{r}
and at distance 2r
E= \frac{1}{4πε} \frac{q}{2r} ........(i)

Charge density is given by
p= \frac{q}{4/3πr³}
p= \frac{3q}{4πr³} ..........(ii)

So,
=1/(4paiε)* q1/(r/2)^2
=1/(4paiε)* q/(2r^2)
=2E
