by this formula CP= [100+p%]/[SPmuliplied by 100]ok

in 1st case :

SP= Rs 5060

profit % = 10%

we know that

profit \: percent \:  =  \:  \frac{sp - cp}{cp}  \:  \times 100

so by formula CP = Rs 4600------------(a)

in second case:

SP = Rs 4370----------------(b)

we know that

loss \: percent \:  =  \:  \frac{cp - sp}{cp}  \times 100

from (a) and (b)

loss \: percent \:  =  \:  \frac{4600 - 4370}{4600}  \times 100

loss percent = 5%
