Actually you have to multiply 180 with number of triangle ( number of sides of polygon  -2)   to get the sum of the  interior angle of the polygon

for ex-

5) pentagon - 180*3 = 240 since number of triangle in it is equal to 5-2=3

6) Hexagon  - 180*4 = 320

7) heptagon - 180*5 = 900

8) Octagon - 180*6 =1080

similarly you can find out for n number of polygon using the formula

180*(n-2)  where n = number of sides
