This question suddenly reminded me of my school days ….w hen I use to search for topics for our class turn in school assembly .

But the topics are really based on the standard of class giving assembly

For eg

Primary class can take topics like

The god , the Christ , prayers , food habits , etc

Secondary class

Importance of health in today's fast moving world .imprtanC of Education.Respect towards elders and parents .

Path of truth . Love towards nation

Higher secondary class

They have the capabilities to use the current topics in news to make assembly intresting

Eg - Olympics

Sports and India

Scarcity of water

Hardwork the key to success

Humanity

Selfless service etc
