(I WANT STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION)My age is a 2-digit number. when my age is multiplied by 9, I get a 3-digit number. If the digit 4 is written before the 3-digit number and the digit 6 is written after the 3-digit number, I get a 5-digit number which is greater than the 3-digit number by 42355. How old am I?

Answer :- 29 years

 \bf\huge\underline{\underline{ Given :- }}

  • age is 2 digit number

  • when multiplied by 9 gives 3 digit number

  • when 4 and 6 are added to front and back gives 3 digit number greater than 42355.

 \bf\huge\underline{\underline{ To \: Find:- }}

  • Find the age

 \bf\huge\underline{\underline{ Answer :- }}

Let the digits be x and y

  • 2 digit number = 10x + y

  • 9 ( 10x + y) \red{\implies} 100a + 10b + c

  • 40000 + (100a + 10b + c )10 + 6 \red{\implies} 42355 + 100a + 10b + c

  • 40000 - 40000 + (10-1)(100a+10b+c) = 2355-6

  • 9(100a+10b+c) = 2349

  • 100a+10b+c = \frac{2349}{9} \\

  • 100a + 10b + c = 261

  • 10x + y =  \frac{(100a+10b+c)}{9} \\

  • 10x + y =  \frac{261}{9} \\

  • 10x + y = 29
