The Mystery of the Unusual Beggar
This is an unsolved mystery about a beggar I came to know very well through daily interaction with him on my way to school. There is a footpath opposite my school beside a housing complex. In one of its unnoticed dark corners, there lived a beggar. I saw him every day when I went to school and talked with him, as he looked quite cultured and unlike other beggars I had seen. On my birthday, my mother fold me to give some alms to beggars. That was the day when I talked with him for the very first time. Fortune had not been in his favour and he had been reduced to becoming a beggar even after having lived a comfortable life of luxury earlier. I tried to give him money many times. But mostly he denied taking it. He always used to say that he was not a beggar by choice and if someone could employ him, he would love to work. Hence, asked many people to give him some work but no one was ready. Fortunately, a friend's father needed a car cleaner for their housing sociely With some persuasion, they agreed to employ the beggar. I was happy and ran to the beggar to inform him about the good news. Surprisingly, he was nowhere to be found. I searched the nearby area but could not trace him. Since that day, I have been eager and restless to know about his whereabouts.
