Indian Parliament has 3 parts , Loksabha, Rajyasabha, Rastripati.

Loksabha is called lower house and should go for election in every 5 years at least (except in case of Emergency)

Election for Loksabha members is called General Election in India. Normally it should happen in every 5 years, unless Loksabha is dissolved in between it’s term of 5 years.
