6 + 5 × (10 - 8) = 16

because, according to BODMAS (Brackets of Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction), we'll solve the brackets first, giving (10 - 8) as 2, then multiply 5 to it, then add 6 to it, ultimately giving us 16.
