‘Looking for a Cousin on a Swing’ is a poem recollecting his childhood memories. With very subtle expressions, he describes the feeling of innocent oneness and anxiety, a small girl had on her cousin of more or less the same age. Later when she is grown up and has moved to the city, she still feels the same emotions but with some sexual overtones. She still seems to be searching for the same cousin in the city.
