1) diffusion = Diffusion is the net movement of anything from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration.

2) transpiration = the process of water passing out from the surface of a plant or leaf.

3) osmosis = the gradual passing of a liquid through a thin layer of material a membrane.

4) homeostasis = the process by which the body reacts to changes in order to keep conditions inside the body, for example temperature; the same

Answer:

1. Diffusion:-Diffusion is the net movement of anything (for example, atom, ions, molecules) from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration. Diffusion is driven by a gradient in concentration.

2.Transpiration:-Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation from aerial parts, such as leaves, stems and flowers.

3.Osmosis:-Osmosis is the spontaneous net movement of solvent molecules through a selectively permeable membrane into a region of higher solute concentration, in the direction that tends to equalize the solute concentrations on the two sides.

4.Homeostasis:-homeostasis is the ability or tendency to maintain internal stability in an organism to compensate for environmental changes.
