$\textsf{We must take care of units too.}$

Here time is 3 hr 20 mins, on converting it into ours we get,

= 3hr + 20/60 hr

= 3 hr + 1/3 hr

= 3 hr + 0.3 hr

$\textsf{\underline{= 3.3 hr}}$

Now, after substituting values we get,

1240 km/h = Distance / 3.3 hr

1240 × 3.3 km = Distance

$\textbf{\underline{4092 km = distance}}$

Since SI unit of distance is m so 4092 km = 4092000 m

In scientific notation answer is 4.092 × 10^6 m or 4.1 × 10^6 m
