Hi!
here is your Answer!

Given that
(x-1) is a factor of equation

so

put the value of X= 1 in equation

(1 {)}^{3} - 5 {(1)}^{2} - 1 + 5 \\ = 1 - 5 - 1 + 5 \\ = 0 \\ now \\ {x}^{2} (x - 1) - 4x(x - 1) - 5(x - 1) \\ (x - 1)( {x }^{2} - 4x - 5) \\ \\ factorise \\ (x - 1)( {x}^{2} - 5x + 1x - 5) \\ (x - 1)(x(x - 5) + 1(x - 5)) \\ (x - 1)(x - 5)(x + 1) \\ \\ hope \: its \: helps

achala08: thanks bhaiyaa
atul103: my pleasure cutie sis!

→firstly , you need to divide the given px by x-1, to check whether it is a factor of given px or not

→secondly, factorise the GIVEN px

→ for solutions refer to the attachment.
