I want to know about the epic ramayana in english

Ramayan is an indian epic written by Valmiki in sanskrit and Tulsidas in hindi. It is the story of a virtuous prince Ram whose father Dashrath sent him into exile for 14 years after getting influensed by his second wife, Kaikaeyi, who wanted her own son Bharat to be the king. Ram, his wife Sita and younger brother Laxman from his father's third wife went along with him. They lived in different forests. Once while they were staying in Panchvati, a demoness called Shurpanakha saw attacked Sita as she wanted to marry Ram. Laxman cut her nose off and she complained to her brother Ravana who kidnapped Sita to take revenge. Ram then with help of Hamuman, Sugriv and their monkey army went across the sea and and an epic battle ensued in defeat of Ravana and rescuing of Sita.They came back to their kingdom and lived happily ever after.
