and electric potential is a scalar quantity they add up simply

ravikant108: ELECTRIC POTENTIAL in both case is zero because the distance of each charge from centre is same an there are two charge which is positive and two charge is negative by using the formula p=kq/r and sum up all the terms you get finally zero.
