• Then, Hydrolysis of water is takes place in which water decomposes in to oxygen and hydrogen.

• Then Carbon dioxide is reduced by obtained hydrogen to form glucose or simple carbohydrates.

The reaction of photosynthesis can be written as following:-

$CO_2 + H_2O + hv / chlorophyll \rightarrow C_6H_{12}O_6 + 6O_2$

Products obtained is glucose.

By - Products obtained is oxygen gas.
