i want to know how to describe a picture in linguistics.. actually m a student of literature so i have no idea about it.

whatever you are able to see or if you relate it to something which happens in your daily life just write it down....like the seen of a market....then you can write that ...there's too much crowd ..people are buying products from the shop keeper....a woman is bargaining with a vegetabl seller etc....also you can just write down whatever comes to your mind about the pictre on seeing it....its easy ....just practice it...
