. I want to know that Helen Keller is deaf, duumb or blind, because in chapter 8 there is mentioned that Helen get surprised by seeing glowing Christmas tree which shows she is not blind but in chapter 19,20 it shows she is blind,,, really I am totally get confused that Helen is deaf duumb or blind..... please help me and not give stupidd answer because it is first time that I am seriously asking a question

helen was really blind it is written that she saw it but it in reality means that she can feel it
she only felt different things and her senses told her all about her surroundings !!

Helen Keller was completely blind and deaf but not mute. She learned to talk (although crudely) later in her life.

She could not see the glowing Christmas tree but she could understand that it was emitting light. Even completely blind people like Helen can sense and perceive light and dark.
