(i) since AB=AC (given), ABC=ACB(base angle isos. triangle)

ABC=(180-36)/2=72(angle sum of triangle)

(ii) ACB=ABC=72(proved)

(iii) ABD=180-72=108(adj. angle on st. line)

DAB=180-45-108=27(angle sum of triangle)

(iv) EAC=180-45-40-36-27=32(angle sum of triangle)
