Bag surname doesn't come under schedule caste. Bag surname comes under general. Also, intercaste marriages are quite common in Bengal. One can not tell the caste of a person from their surname.
Lastly, we should stop asking about the caste of a person. We should not judge a person from his/ her caste. We should change our mindset with time.
