I want to know what kind of soil is used to make matkas and surahis

Clay soil kind of soil should be used for making matkas and surahis and it is suitable for making it with no trouble of it.

mainly Potter made pots

by using soil called clay

because clay is very smooth and Water does not passes from it so they make mataka and surahi by clay soil
