Hi there!!
To understand these subjects you need to know basics.
For physics:
You need to understand each and every concept. Everything in physics is important because every concept is related to each other like if you are learning about speed of an object , you need to know what is distance and time as formula of speed is distance / time.
Physics is not only about theory. You need to know how to solve problems using formulae and for that you ,of course, need to know all important and basic formulae.
Therefore I suggest you to understand all chapters of physics because physics does not have only few important chapters, all chapters are very important.
For biology:
You need to know about primary cause of life - cell.
Very organism is made up of millions of cells. A cell is basic unit and building blocks of life.
I suggest you to understand chapter "Cell".
hope this helps ☺️
