I was given a science to project to show heating effect of electric current I did all the ways to show it but after connecting wires to the wire it wasn't heated can you tell me the answer.

There may be many reasons like weak battery and wrong wire connection.
You can make a bulb or take a toaster and take out the heating wire and connect it with a high power battery
