You should find a a table or anything else from which you can cover your head. You should run down to outside. Take shelter under table and stay there till the shaking stops. Stay away from tall and heavy objects that may fall on you. Do not get up if you are in a bed . protect your head with pillow. stay indoors till shaking stops. if you are caught outside find a clear spot away building trees Bridges and oerhead power lines. drop to the ground. do not came out if sitting in a moving vehicle. drive slowly to the clearspot and stay inside. come out when the tremors stop.
