I was returning from a late night show, last night,I noticed some light near Mr.Gupta's shop.

There was no one in the street. It was a routine of Mr. Gupta to close his shop at 10:00 pm maximum. I had never seen such an activity in or near his shop after 10:00 pm. I was surprised to see this. As Mr. Gupta deals in Gold Jewelry, so the first thing that came to my mind was a robbery. I felt feet getting heavier. I gathered my breaths and took my phone out of my pocket. I called the emergency police. They asked me about the whereabouts of the crime scene. I told them the location in detail.
Exactly after 5 minutes, I heard the police siren. I was standing at a distance from the shop. Suddenly I saw some shadows running out of the shop. There were 3 police vans coming to the crime scene. The shadows took cover behind some sign boards and trees.
The police officers came out of their vans in a speed and took their positions. One of them announced in loud speaker to surrender. Suddenly one of the robbers shot at him. The police officer got down to save himself and luckily he succeeded. The bullet had just passed near his ear. The other police officers opened fire at the robbers and tightened their circle. Soon the robbers shouted and surrendered themselves. One of them had got a fire in his leg and was wounded badly. The police arrested them. All the people had come out of their houses. They were frightened and surprised. I moved forward to the leading officer and told him about my call. He thanked me and they took away the robbers. Mr Gupta had also come there. He thanked me for saving his shop.

I got scared and quietly watched them, they were thieves.
I did not understand what to do but then I calmed myself and called the police.
