Answer:

actual time given is 12 hrs

error is 6.25

so atq,

6.25÷100×12=0.75

now u took 0.75 hrs more that is 45 mins more

so 12+0.75=12.75=12hrs n 45 mins

Given : I was supposed to complete a task in 12 hr but I took more time and the error was 6.25%

To Find : How much time did I take to complete the task

Solution:

Required time for Task  = 12 Hrs

Error = 6.25 %

Error  = (6.25/100) * 12  = 0.75 hr

took more time  hence error is on positive side

Total Time taken to complete task  = Required time for Task + Error

= 12 + 0.75 hrs

= 12.75   hrs

= 12 hrs  45 minutes

Total Time taken to complete task   =  12.75   hrs   , 12 hrs  45 minutes

or 12 3/4  hrs
