The average weight of the papayas that were left with the  vendor is 1.9 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of papayas the vendor had, n = 12.

Average weight of 12 papayas was, A = 2 kg.

Compute the sum of the weight of 12 papayas as follows:

A=\frac{1}{n}\sum x\\2=\frac{1}{12}\sum x\\\sum x=24

The weight of 12 papayas was 24 kg.

The weight of lightest papayas was 1 kg.

The weight of heaviest papayas was 4 kg.

Compute the weight of remaining 10 papayas as follows:

Weight of remaining 10 papayas = 24 - 1 - 4 = 19 kg.

Compute the average weight of the remaining 10 papayas as follows:

A=\frac{1}{10}\times 19=1.9

Thus, the average weight of the papayas that were left with the  vendor is 1.9 kg.
