Periodic table.

Explanation:

Groups are arranged horizontally on the periodic table and periods are arranged vertically. So every column is named as a group in the ascending order. And every row is named a period and period name ascends as you move from top to bottom of the periodic table.

1) There are six elements in Group 1 of the periodic table. Example: Lithium (Li), Sodium (Na).

2) There are eight elements in Period 2. Example: Lithium (Li), Beryllium (Be).

3) There are eight elements in Period 3. Example: Sodium (Na), Magnesium (Mg).

(ii) There are six elements in Group 2. Example: Beryllium (Be), Calcium (Ca).
