i) What should be added to (x-y) to get 2x?

let z be added

so z+x-y=2x

z=2x-x+y

z=x+y

ii) Find the coefficient of y² in 9py².

9p is coefficient of y²

iii)Find the value of 3x²-4x-7 when x=-3

at x= -3

3(-3)²-4(-3)-7

3×9+12-7

27+12-7

27+5

32
