In the lesson "The Selfish Giant" author Oscar Wilde described Giant's garden and giant too. In Giant's garden, there was no spring because spring indicates happiness but winter indicates suffering. The giant drove away all children from his garden so that there was no happiness.

In winter the garden was full of snow and frost was come to join with snow. The bone-shaking north wind was blowing over the garden with his special sound. All of the worst things in winter was invited to come and join them for the party.
