I which state of matter are particles close together and able to move past one another​

Liquids take on the shape of the container they are in. The particles in a liq- uid are attracted to one another and are close together. However, particles in a liquid are not fixed in place. They move freely enough to collide and move past each other.

Answer: in liquid state of matter particles are close together and past one another.

In solid States all the particles of matter are very close to each other and hence it creates in balance to create a space between all the particles and hence due to greater force of attraction in solid States particles cannot move by one another whilein gaseous state all the particles are very far from each other and his gas particles just flow from one another in alternative directions and his liquid is the only one state where the shape may be different but the volume is same and hence liquid state of matter are particles are all close to each other and been able to past one another.and also liquid can take the shape of the container they are kept in
