1.       Sounds of the bees, crickets, lake water lapping by the shore, sound of the birds’ wings are described in the poem. ‘…And full of linnet’s wings’ is the best description as is describes the sounds of birds’ wings when flocked in the air.
2.       The poet does not want the company of the other people. It is evident from the fact that he mentioned to live alone at Innisfree.
3.       By “pavements grey” he meant surrounded by people and the noise thereof.
4.       By ‘glimmer’ the poet meant the light of the stars in the sky.
5.       In the evening the birds fly back home. In the process, the sky is covered by the wings of the birds.
