Answer:
Stay Healthy : Ensure you get proper diet and sleep. As in my case, I was diagnosed with high creatine level caused due to unbalanced diet and insufficient sleep. This negatively affected my preliminary school exams as I was told to take 20 days bed rest for stomach pain. Practice meditation.
Practice Mathematics daily: Give minimum one hour everyday for this subject. Maths is all about practice.
Improve handwriting if possible : Handwriting plays an important role for evaluating your answer sheet. 10th exams are not like school exams because in school your names are visible and the teacher checking paper will be giving you marks keeping in his/her mind the experiences with you in class/school. On the other hand, your final papers are evaluated by persons from other districts /state/divisions. Also there are moderators and chief moderators.
Paper Presentation is a key to good scores: Use proper spacing between words in a sentence. Highlight important words/phrases in sentences. Draw thin page borders if it is allowed. Use gel/ink pen because your paper looks more bright than ball pen. Write answers in serial order if you are comfortable otherwise it's OK. Write answers to those questions you know very well first and those of which you have less information at last. *History, Geography.
Don't stress if you get less score in prelims : As in my case I scored 70% in prelims. My teacher told my parents that I won't score above 80% in final board exam. But I never underestimated my potential. Just focus on gaining knowledge instead of marks. Knowledge will automatically fetch you marks.
Don't use guides / digest even if your teacher asks you to instead write your own answers: I had many classmates who would cram answers form guides/digest and score high marks in school exams but ended up getting less marks in board exam. But board evaluators knows the answers from those digests as most of them are authors of digests. They look for creativity. Refer such resources only for difficult answers but mostly use textbooks.
Don't compare your marks with others: The simple reason is that in final exam you might end up scoring higher/lower marks than your counterparts whereas in school exams you can guess who the topper maybe based on your previous experience. You cannot predict results in board exams.
Practice answer writing: The only way you show the examiner the knowledge you have is by writing. Also practice increases your speed (thinking and writing). I practiced 10 previous year's question papers for each subject.
Revise, Revise and keep on doing revisions till the day of your final exam.
“Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. ”. Don't waste your time on social media and don't procrastinate. Good Luck
