i will definitely mark him a brainlist who solves this correctly. This is urgent please give me answer fast . the que is............................................................... find the ratio between area and circumference if radius is halved..... give the solution fast with steps....

hey.

let radius be r.

new area of a circle = pi*(r/2)²

= pi*r²/4

new circumference of a circle = 2*pi*r/2

= pi*r

so ratio = pi*r²/4 / pi*r

= r/4

Given that radius is halved = (r/2).

(i)

We know that Area = πr²

                                = π(r/2)²

                                = πr²/4.


(ii)

We know that Circumference = 2πr

                                                 = 2π(r/2)

                                                 = πr.


Ratio of area and circumference:

⇒ πr²/4 : πr

r/4.
