Answer:

For 18 shirts total profit of seller = 350(18) = 6300

The final selling price of single shirt for customer = 1620

Step-by-step explanation:

we are given that

Purchasing price of single shirt = 1000

The shopkeeper wanted to take profit = 35 %

SO

According to him the selling price = 1000 + 35 % of 1000

                                                         = 1000 +  35(1000/100)

                                                         = 1000 + 350 = 1350

The profit of seller = 1350 - 1000 = 350

For 18 shirts total profit of seller = 350(18) = 6300

If the customer has to pay Tax = 20 %

The Selling price of shirt further increase = 20% of 1350

                                                                     = 20(1350/100) = 270

SO after implementation of 20 % tax the selling price = 1350 + 270 = 1620

Thus

The final selling price of single shirt for customer = 1620
