Answer:

2-a)

The distance covered by Ram during the whole journey

Distance from position A to position B = 4 Km

Distance from position B to position C = 2 Km

Therefore, the total distance  covered by Ram during the whole journey = 6 km

b)

The magnitude of his displacement

Distance from position A to position B = 4 Km

Distance from position B to position C = 2 Km

Displacement is change from the original position to final position.

The distance that he travelled back shall be taken as negative.

Magnitude of his displacement= 4 - 2 km = 2 Km

Answer:

Hey DEAR here's your answer.....

The total distance travelled by Ram during the entire journey will be equal to the sum of distances travelled from A to B and then from B to C.

Hence, the total distance travelled is AB + BC = 4 + 2 = 6 km.

Displacement is the distance between the final and initial points in the path of the journey.

Hence, displacement is = AC = AB - BC = 4 - 2 = 2 km.

hope it will help you
