Given,

Radius of each pillar= 28 cm

Height of each pillar=4 m= 400 cm

So, as we all know

CSA of a cylinder= 2(22/7) rh

= 2 (22/7) (28) (400)

= 70400 sq cm = 7.04 m sq

CSA of one pillar =7.04= (24)

= 168.96 sq m

Since, cost of painting 1 sq m= Rs. 8

∴Cost of 168.96 sq m =Rs. 8 ( 168.96)

                                             = Rs. 1315.68
