Q. the capacity of an open cylindrical tank is 2079 m^3 and the diameter of its base is 21 m find the cost of plastering its inner surface at ₹ 40 per square metre

volume = pi× r^2 × h
2079 = 22/7 × (21/2)^2 ×h

2079 * 7 *4/22 * 441 = h
6m = h

Area for plastering = pi ×r (2h + r)
= putting values
(33×45)/2
= 742.5sq.m

Cost = 40 × 742.5
29,700 Rs
